WELCOME TO THE SANDY TOWNSHIP POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Sandy Township Police Department is a Progressive 21st Century Law Enforcement Agency that delivers quality police services to the public at the highest level. The team of dedicated professionals is comprised of a Chief of Police, Detective/Sergeant, Sergeant, Two (2) Patrol Corporals, Seven (8) Full-Time Police Officers, a School Resource Officer (SRO) , and an Administrative Assistant.

Sandy Township, which surrounds the City of DuBois, is the most populous municipality in Clearfield County and provides services to approximately 12,000 residents encompassing 52 square miles. Officers patrol 100 miles of roadway as well as an additional 100 miles of roadway within the private gated community of Treasure Lake. Interstate 80 and the major state routes of 219, 119, 322, and 255 and rail traverse the Township.  Sandy Township and DuBois are a major economic retail hub for the tri-county area and see a substantial daily transient population who travel to the Township for work, school, food, shopping, and recreation.

Sandy Township is diverse in geography, from urban to rural, with busy retail and industrial districts, residential neighborhoods, abundant outdoor recreational opportunities, and rolling farmland. Sandy Township Police is proud to partner with and serve our distinct neighborhoods of Oklahoma, West Sandy, West Liberty, Kiwanis Park, Adrian, Iselin Heights, Singing Hills, Clear Run, Indian Hills, Sabula, and Treasure Lake.
